"Lucy Does a TV Commercial" In this episode, Lucy begs Ricky to let her star in a television commercial during his live televised show. When he refuses, she cancels the hired girl and shows up instead. The commercial requires her to repeatedly taste a new energy formula, which, unbeknownst to her, contains a high percentage of alcohol. As Lucy becomes more intoxicated, the commercial starts to go off the rails.
